TSA and the Bubbles That Didn’t Exist

I had an 1-day trip to Indianapolis for a show, flying out of Ft. Myers. The realtor client had a special request for his children – that I bring my bubbles, the effect in which I blow bubbles, grab one out of the air and bounce it on the floor. I assured him I’d have it for them.
I had no checked luggage.

Photos From Naples Magician • Musical Mindreader Show

Naples Public Performance of The Musical Mindreader Show

As a magician and Musical Mindreader, I have the pleasure of performing at some of the finest venues in the country. I received some photos from the Prom Fundraiser at the auditorium in Golden Gate High School in Naples, FL. Thank you to the stars that came up on stage and helped, and a huge thank you to all the students and faculty that came together to make the evening a joy and a success.

Musical Mindreader at the Fair!

ONE NIGHT ONLY

This Friday night • shows at 8:00 and 9:30

On Friday, March 21st, I’ll be at the Collier County Fair, presenting two Musical Mindreader performances. The first show, at 8:00 PM, will have a very special and astonishing event: the Swamp Buggy Queen contestants will be part of the show in a one-time and unforgettable series of events.

New Magic Residency at Stevie Tomato’s

I’m very excited to announce my new residency at Stevie Tomato’s Sports Page. Stevie Tomatos has been a part of our community since the 90s, consistently voted the Best Sport Bar since 1999. Their specialty is Chicago-style pizzas and italian beef sandwiches, but their menu has just about everything you could want from burgers and fish, to wraps and ribs (amazing ribs!).

Musical Mindreader show at Golden Gate HS

This was one of those shows that entertainers dream about. From the moment it began until the closing ovation, we had so much fun! Faces in the seats came ready to laugh, shriek and sing almost constantly. On  September 28th, I had the great pleasure to perform for the students and families of Golden Gate High School here in Naples.

Art on Playing Cards

The Playing Card as a Canvas

On the home page of my website, in the middle photo that pops up with respect to close-up magic, you’ll see a beautiful piece of jewelry made by my daughter at the age of 12. One of my signature effects uses this Mona Lisa pendant to induce the power of suggestion.

The Musical Mindreader in the Corbin Theatre

The historic Corbin Theatre invited me to bring The Musical Mindreader show to downtown Liberty, KS July 24th, 2013. We had a sold-out crowd and an invitation to come back and do it again! My good friends, Chris and Shawn Foster, were instrumental in making this happen. And Chris and his 15-year-old son Zach provided the music for the opening of the show. They were remarkable – as evidenced here:

All As One

Don’t you just love it when good things come together? My friend and client, Mike Deck, of ERA Real Estate Links in Indianapolis, had met his soul mate. And the time was right for two families to be brought together as one. But first things first!

Gathering of Mentalists

Some of the most creative minds I’ve met in mentalism gathered again on Monday in Bradenton for an opportunity to exchange ideas, brainstorm, teach and learn. Pictured left to right are myself, Jim Chartier, Dan Tong, Don Rigsby, Vince Carmen and Chandler.

10 Tips for a Successful Event

After performing for several thousand events from Paris to Hawaii and most stops in between, I created these answers to questions that sometimes get forgotten. I hope you find a tip or two that helps you create a successful event for you and your guests:

A landmark in Naples since 1998

The Watermark Grille has been my home, 5 nights a week, for almost 12 years now. The 4 Malo brothers built it and run it to this day. They’ve spent their lives in the restaurant/nightclub business, and if you’ve seen live music in Chicago, chances are you were at one of their places.

Florida Mentalists Gathering

Sunday, September 14, 2008 in Naples, FL was an amazing day filled with learning, teaching and fun. It was a day of education, networking and fun for like-minded people to share their passion and ideas. The cost was $30 which also included brunch, coffee, tea.
